Hironobu Murata, PhDResearch Scientist

Hiro has been a researcher in the Russell lab since 2004 and has been working on several projects that involve researching new fields of technology and developing innovative methods for linking synthetic compounds to biomaterials. He is now working on the development of enzyme-polymer hybrid materials for therapeutic applications like PEGylated proteins for medical treatments. He is also working on the design and synthesis of multifunctional cell-surface reactive polymers.

Discovery at the rich interface of chemistry, biology, and material science to incorporate
